Bien répartir les déchets en fonction de leur nature
Le tri sélectif vise à séparer les déchets recyclables des ordures ménagères, afin de favoriser leur collecte et leur traitement spécifique. En effet, chaque catégorie de déchets est traitée différemment par une filière spécialisée. Il est donc important de connaître les différentes catégories de déchets recyclables et de savoir où et comment les déposer. Les papiers comme les livres et journaux ou les cartons d’emballage sont facilement recyclables. Attention cependant de ne pas y mêler des emballages souillés comme les cartons de pizza.
La seconde catégorie est composée des PMC, c’est-à-dire les emballages en plastique (pots de yaourt, flacons en plastique), en métal (boites de conserve) ou les briques alimentaires. Les déchets organiques sont composés essentiellement des résidus de cuisine et des déchets de jardins. Le verre déposé dans les bulles à verre est traité à part par une filière spécialisée. Enfin, les déchets ménagers résiduels regroupent tous les inclassables des catégories précédentes, à l’exception des déchets industriels.
Pour bien trier tous ces déchets au sein de votre foyer, munissez-vous de poubelles de tri spécifiques comme un bac jaune pour le carton, un bac blanc pour les PMC et un bac vert pour le verre que vous pourrez déposer dans un point d’apport volontaire.
